Every fly humping in that room is running a whole fucking brain. 138,639 neurons. 15,091,983 synapses. Wired in exactly the order they are wired inside the head of a real fruit fly — every cell in the right place, hooked to the right neighbours. Not a loop. Not a puppet. Actual neurons charging up and going off, a tenth of a millisecond at a time, while you sit there and watch.

Your money is their nervous system

Nobody scripts the fucking. When you buy, we do not play you an animation. We take your buy and shove it straight into their sensory neurons — the same cells that fire when a real fly gets touched, tastes sugar, or sees a shadow drop on it. Their brains work out what to do with that on their own. Buy small and one couple twitches. Buy big and the whole floor loses it at once.

Every thrust is wired to something

When he is on top of her, every single stroke fires her Johnston's organ — 209 mechanoreceptors, the fly's sense of being grabbed and shaken — and it fires in both their heads at the same time. Her pC1 neurons, ten of them, are the ones that keep her open and taking it; without those firing she would not let him mount at all. Every fourth stroke dumps a load of PAM dopamine, 307 cells of it, into the two of them. Those are not cute names we made up. Those are the neurons.

Sell and she throws him off

Dump on the curve and DNp13 goes off in the hottest female in the room, next to oviDN. That is the reject circuit — the exact one a real female fly uses to kick a male off her mid-fuck. She does it right there on the floor, in front of everyone, and he goes flying. Keep dumping and a shadow crosses the whole room and every couple freezes.

Nobody in here is faking it

Those dots in the little brains below are neurons that actually fired, in the instant you are looking at them. Blue when the fly is just warm. Gold when it is working. Pink when it is screaming. Stimulate one fly and only that fly lights up — the one next to her stays dark, because it is her own head and not a shared light switch. When the room goes quiet, it is because nothing is touching them.

House rules

One anatomically correct fly body, drawn thirty-two times, each reading the movement at its own delay with its own couple's rhythm on top — so the legs and the wings are real fly mechanics, but it is one body reused, not thirty-two. Nothing in here is learning: memory is switched off on purpose. And if the badge at the top says no signal, the brains are off and you are looking at a photograph of a room. We do not fake the movement.
